On the left you will find of all the projects with the currently selected project being highlighted. Similar, to the tables in your user profile you will find a search box that allows you to filter the list for specific projects. This feature is especially helpful when you are managing a lot of projects.
Most importantly you can create new projects by selecting the blue “Add” button. Once you have created a new project it will be instantly displayed in the projects list.
Customizing and editing your project information
The core of the project management section are four tabs that allow you to edit set up key components of your project before starting your analysis:
General project information
The general information tab of your project allows you to edit the name as well as add a start and end date, a general description, regions, usergroups and members to the currently selected project.
Note that you can always revert the all your changes by selecting the "Revert" button before saving your edits.
Remember to click on the "Save" button once you have finished your edits! Otherwise all your changes will be lost.
Editing the start and end date
When editing the start and end date of the project you can either enter the date manually or use the following actions that will appear when hovering your mouse over the date field:
Apply current current date to the date field
Use a calendar popup to select a date
Delete entered date
You can add and remove regions relevant for your project by either selecting or deselecting them in the dropdown list or by narrowing down the items displayed in the list by entering the name of the region. Additionally, you can delete already added regions by selecting the delete icon.
Editing user groups and members
Adding and removing user groups and members works in a similar fashion as editing regions. However with the limitation that the number of user groups in dropdown list is limited to the ones you have got admin rights on.
Furthermore, you can execute the the following actions in the project members table:
Grant admin right to the user (admin)
Revoke admin right of the user (admin)
Delete project from selection (admin)
